Waterproof Flashlights
Waterproof flashlights are lights built to withstand submersion. Certain models provide more resistance to water than others, so it is important to read the labels to determine how waterproof it is.
Some waterproof flashlights can be completely immersed in water and are great to use on a boat. These are generally made with durable plastic and rubber seals to ensure no water can enter the battery or bulb chamber of the light. In addition, some are built to withstand deep water and are popular with scuba divers.
Other waterproof flashlights may not be built for water immersion, but can be handled to withstand weather elements such as rain and snow. These are popular with campers and other outdoor enthusiasts who require temporary light in many types of weather conditions.
