No Battery Flashlights
No battery flashlights contain power sources other than batteries for operation, saving consumers money on the purchase of batteries. These are also good for the environment, as they don’t require batteries (batteries are a form of environmental waste).
Common types of no battery flashlights include the wind-up flashlight or a light that requires the user to crank it for power, and the shake flashlight, which requires the user to shake the light for a period of time for illumination. Both types use human power to operate the light and produce a decent amount of bright, illuminating light.
Some drawbacks of no battery flashlights are that they can be priced somewhat higher than their battery-powered counterparts. In addition, flashlights that operate without batteries can only be used for small periods of time. These kinds are great for storing in an automobile or in a home for emergency purposes.
