LED Flashlight
A LED flashlight contains a specialized type of bulb that often uses
less energy than typical incandescent bulbs. Light emitting diodes,
or LEDs, are special types of illumination devices that don’t
use filaments that burn out like those with incandescents.
Often the bulbs in a LED flashlight are much smaller than typical bulbs
but emit a more concentrated beam of light, making an LED model preferable
over standard lights. LED bulbs tend to be more durable than incandescent
bulbs and are more efficient.
Though a LED flashlight may be more expensive than an incandescent
light, the light generally uses less battery power, saving the owner
money on battery purchases. Some flashlights can be converted from incandescent
bulbs to LED bulbs for a small price.
